The electronics system contains an embedded computer, altitude sensors, and inertial measurement sensors to calculate the vehicle's altitude, velocity, and orientation.

Using this information, a control system maintains flight stability by actuating a two dimensional gimbal connected to the coaxial rotor shaft designed to control the direction of thrust.

This project is inspired by NASA's Ingenuity Mars Helicopter Mission, and is also designed to jettison from a high-power model rocket.
